Lettuce Recall!

    More recalls to report, this time it is lettuce. Now I'm not trying to be a fear monger, or trying to advocate growing everything you eat. However anyone who has had a bad case of food poisoning will tell you that they NEVER want to go through that again.

    Dole is recalling its Dole Hearts of Romaine for possible contamination with Listeria monocytogenes. The products effected are Dole Hearts of Romaine coded 0540N165112A or B, with a use-by date of June 26 and UPC 7143000956 with a product code and use-by date in the upper right-hand corner of the package and a UPC code on the back of the package are all subject to recall.
